We trust you and your family had a safe and joyous holiday season and end to 2024. It was a busy year and 2025 will be more of the same.

To wrap-up 2024, it is with great pleasure that we share our 2023-2024 Annual Report highlighting the accomplishments, growth, and initiatives of The Dr. Charles P. Darby, Jr. Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina. As we reflect upon the past year’s achievements, we recognize that none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of our engaged community, partners and stakeholders.

What critical changes will 2025 bring to MUSC Children’s Health? There will be vital treatment enhancements and program expansions to communicate. For example, thanks to your generous support and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children in our state and beyond, we will share an exciting update about pediatric neurosurgery. We will continue to expand critical statewide community-level programs like our pediatric emergency department readiness and Safe Heart SC school certifications.

We will communicate care innovations and advancements throughout the year and offer our commitment to partner with you in your endeavors to support the health of our children and families for years to come. Thank you for all your support in 2024; we know 2025 will also be invigorating and busy.
